A prediction, not a money wager
In Touchdown Team, you choose the team you think will win each American football game. Correct picks earn points for the standings. You do not place a money wager: points let players compare their predictions.
You can play on the world leaderboard without joining a league. A private league adds your group’s own standings if you want to play with friends. You need an account to save your picks, whether you play on your own or in a league.
Choose and save game winners
- Install the app and sign in to your account.
- Open the week’s picks screen.
- Choose a winner for each game you want to predict.
- If you want, place your Lock on one game that week.
- Tap Save picks to record your choices.
Team win–loss records and game locations appear on the picks screen. You can use that information to inform your choices; it does not guarantee an outcome.
How scoring works
The standard scoring system rewards picking the winning team. You can choose one Lock per week: a confidence bonus that adds points when that pick is correct.
Your selected team wins, with no Lock on that game.
Your Lock wins: 10 points for the correct pick plus a 5-point bonus.
Your pick is incorrect, including a missed Lock. No points are deducted.
Live scores and results after game windows
Game Center shows live game scores. Your pick results follow the game windows: after an intermediate window, the Bulletin shows your points. Once the week’s final window is over, The Reveal presents your weekly results and your season-long world ranking.
Game windows depend on the schedule. Do not rely on a fixed day or time to see your results. Pick’em standings update after completed game windows.
One set of picks, on your own or with friends
Your picks count toward the world leaderboard and the leagues you belong to, within their playing periods. You do not fill in a separate set of picks for each league. A standard private league supports up to 50 members on iPhone and Android.
