What your group needs
Each friend installs Touchdown Team on iPhone or Android and creates an account. You can use different phones: everyone joins the same league and shares its standings. A standard private league supports up to 50 members, including its creator.
You pick American football game winners and compare your points. The game is free, with no betting or real-money wagers. A private league gives your group its own standings; it does not create another set of picks to fill in.
Create a private league
- Sign in to your account and open Leagues.
- Select the Create tab and enter your league’s name.
- Choose a format: 1 week, 4 weeks or Season.
- Tap Create league. The confirmation displays your invitation code.
- Tap Share to send the invitation to your friends.
The one-week and four-week formats start with the current week. Their scoring window is set when you create the league. The Season format covers the regular season. Pick the duration that suits your group, then check the league’s playing period.
Join a friend’s league
- Install the app, then create an account or sign in.
- Open Leagues → Join.
- Enter your friend’s invite code and tap Join league.
- Tap View league on the confirmation to open your group’s page.
Make your first picks
Choose each game’s winner and save your picks before kickoff. Each game has its own cutoff: you cannot change a pick once its game has started, but upcoming games remain open.
A correct pick earns 10 points. Your weekly Lock adds 5 points if it wins, with no points deducted if it misses. One set of picks counts toward your leagues and the world leaderboard. You do not need to repeat the same choices for each group.
Check results and standings
Game Center lets you follow game scores. After intermediate game windows, the Bulletin shows your points. After the final window, The Reveal presents your weekly results and your season-long world ranking. Your league standings cover the league’s own playing period.
