Which service fits your group?
Touchdown Team: one set of picks across your leagues
Complete one set of picks: your choices count in your leagues and the global standings. Each correct pick earns 10 points. You can choose one Lock pick per week: if it wins, it adds 5 points. Points are unveiled after game nights, through the Bulletin and the Reveal.
Consider before joining: an app and an account are required to play. The free service is funded by advertising, and organizers cannot customize the scoring rules.
Yahoo: configurable group rules
Yahoo may fit a group that wants to use the web or Yahoo Fantasy, with confidence and spread options. The organizer chooses the private group’s settings.
FantasyNerds: a private league on the web
The documented free private plan offers an invite code, straight-up picks and automatic standings. Other hosting plans cost extra.
Straight-up, spread or confidence: what changes?
A straight-up pick predicts which team wins. With a spread, scoring takes a set point margin into account. Confidence points let you give different weights to your picks. These are scoring rules; their presence alone does not mean a service involves money betting.
