What is Touchdown Team league chat?
League chat is the conversation space built into a league in Touchdown Team, the football pick’em app for friends. League members talk NFL games, share their picks and discuss results in the same app as their picks and standings.
The feature is available on iPhone and Android. Touchdown Team is free, with no money wagers: you play for points. Sign in to your account and join your friends’ league to meet them in its chat.
How do I open my league chat?
- Open Leagues in the Touchdown Team app.
- Select a league you have created or joined. Its page shows your standings and a League Chat preview.
- Open the chat to read messages and join in. Type in Message your league…, then send your message.
Need a group first? Follow the guide to create a private league and invite friends with a code.
Messages and reactions for game day
A pick to defend, an unexpected result or a friend who called it: league chat brings your conversations together before, during and after the games. You can send messages and react to friends’ messages. The screenshots on this page show examples including 😂 and 🔥 reactions.
The conversation also includes league activity, such as a member finishing their picks for a game night. Your discussion sits alongside the things you already share: your league, points and standings.
How can I remind a friend to finish their picks?
When a friend still has picks to make, a chat banner shows their name and remaining picks. Tap Nudge to send a reminder that appears in the chat.
There is a limit of one nudge per friend per game night. It reminds them to finish their picks before kickoff; it does not make their picks for them.
